24 Wishes

I used to wish for the world with all of my heart as a little girl

I didn't even understand the world, but that is what I wished for.

A wish is a strong desire for something that isn't easy to obtain

All desires of the heart are granted through the Spirit.

Wishing for the world, something I did not understand

And living to fulfill that wish has led to a lifetime of not understanding

But when I connected my Spirit with my heart,

I began to learn more about the world

24 years of living, and wishing for the world

And I am just now beginning to understand the things of the world

That has shaped my journey and guided my path

But now that my Spirit is free,

I am living to learn about the desires that were placed into my heart

I have learned the meaningless of the world in 24 years,

Now I am learning the meaning of my heart

That once desired the world

But now lives free in Spirit.
